The answers background reflects if the settings meet the ANPR limitations or not
A GREEN background means that recognition can occur
An ORANGE background means that it will probably occur
A RED background means recognition will not occur
Remember       GREEN=YES      ORANGE=MAYBE     RED=NO

Adjust the sliders so that they reflect the site dimensions and camera specifications
If an explanation is required for any item, click on the HELP icon
Closing any help screen is as easy as clicking the CLOSE icon

NB.   The basic ANPR limitations are as follows-
The top angle of the camera to the license plate cannot exceed 30°
The side angle of the camera to the license plate cannot exceed 15°
The font of the license plate in the image must be 20 pixels or greater

Of course adequate lighting is required, and will differ from site to site, but this calculator does not take this into account
